story book art 22nd Sept. 2014

This week in Story book art we read, 'There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.' The kids loved the story and were able to join in and read along. They enjoyed making their own little old lady and talking about what she was eating. Take a look at some photos of their beautiful art work.

Storybook art Sept. 2, 2014

This week we enjoyed reading the story, '10 apples up on top.' The kids loved talking about how many apples they thought they could balance on their head before they would fall off. 

Each child was given a paper plate to decorate as a tiger and then could choose how many apples their tiger could hold. Some choose 10 apples and some chose 4. Take a look at some of their art work.
