ECA Sand & Play: The Coral reef

Today for our ECA Sand and Play we learned about the coral reef. We learned about how to take care of the coral reef when we go swimming in the sea or in the ocean. Then we recreated the environment of the coral reef and played in the sand!

ECA Garden Club

There was plenty of excitement in gardening this week as we had a frog visit the garden! Our new pond is now in place and our water lilies look very happy in their new home.

The papaya are still going strong and we dug over our flower beds this week, ready for next terms, hopefully more successful planting.......

Sharks!

Learning about the ocean is nothing but fun!  Just have a good time while getting your kids pondering about what the world’s oceans mean to all of us. Sharks is of course a fascinating creature and the children were so happy when I told them that we will be making Sharks!

ECA Sand & Play: Welcome to the Arctic...

Today for our weekly ECA Sand & Play we learned about Arctic animals. We mixed sand and shaving cream and added some blue and silver glitter to make it even more fun! We mixed it all together and played with the Arctic animals. This activity is a great way to learn about this habit through a fun and exciting sensory activity.
