Sensory tray fun!

The sensory club kids really enjoyed the sensory trays that were set up for them, this week.
The trays were set up so that the kids could use their  senses of sight, smell and touch.
First, they enjoyed feeling the texture of the paint. Then, they went onto mixing the paint to make different colours!

They started to add in some of the materials that were set out - sand, corn starch, coffee, salt, sequins, etc.

They enjoyed mixing in some smells (coffee, salt, oil etc) into the paint.

Minnie and Lewis made a coffee shop!

Lucy pretended to cook - she made a sequin, flour and sand soup!

It was great to see the children using their senses and exploring what they could do with different materials.
