Horton the elephant

Today we talked about the kind of animals we can see in the zoo or jungle. Then we chatted about elephants; their colour, size, body structure. This lead onto 'Horton' the elephant. After watching a short clip on him, we used plastic cups to make our very own Horton! It was so much fun, especially the part where we pretended to be elephants!!

 Stomp stomp stomp!

 We painted inside the cups this time.

 Then we stuck on ears, eyes and a trunk.

 And look what we made! Many, many Hortons!
