Elmer the Elephant by David McKee
Elmer the Elephant has become a favorite storybook character. After reading Elmer by David McKee, we were inspired to make our own elephants by coloring his patchwork.
Here are some activities and crafts for kids that would go perfectly with a unit on Elmer or as an extension to many of the Elmer books including Elmer’s Special Day and Elmer and the Rainbow.
