Story Book Art March 24th

This week in Story Book Art ECA we read the story " The Pigeon and a Hot Dog".

The children talked about how it is always nice to share with our friends. We also talked about food that we like and dislike.

We then coloured and cut out our own fruit and made a nice collaged fruit basket.

Role play and Dance March 20

This week the children got to choose their favorite game to play. One of the games we played was, 'doggy doggy where's your bone.' The kids love this game and each take turns being the dog or the silly person hiding their bone. The children also enjoyed playing the freeze game.

In Yoga this week we practiced moving silently by tiptoeing and not making any noise with our mouths.

Thai Art

We're going on a bear hunt!

This week in Role play ECA. The children had fun acting out 'We're going on a bear hunt.' The children pretended to use a camera to take a picture of the bear. The enjoyed sharing their pictures with their friends as well as singing along to 'let it go,' an all time favourite! Check out the video and have fun going on a bear hunt, don't forget your camera!

Today we went to the soft play room to build a rocket. We flew to lots of different planets!

Story Book Art March 10

This week in Story Book Art ECA we learned about Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf. 

The children enjoyed the story that included the 3 little pigs who help Little Red Riding Hood.

We then painted the flowers that Little Red Riding Hood is picking on her way to her Grandmas house. Everyone made really beautiful flowers and enjoyed it so much we ran out of time!

We used lots of beautiful pastel colours to paint the flowers and mixed in white paint to make them even lighter.

Role play and Dance 6th March 2014

This week the children had fun acting out prince and princesses. They enjoyed playing inside the castle and setting a tea party. They girls loved dressing up in the princess dresses and dancing and singing along to 'Let it go.' The children were also able to make their own fairy wand. Story Book Art March 3

Welcome back everyone!

I hope you all had a great half term break.

This week in story book art we read a big book about Winnie the Witch and her New Computer. We used our magic wands and cast spells to change cats into different colours and learned how we need to use books and not rely only on the computer.

The children drew and painted over pictures from the holiday. We had students who went to the office, the beach and Disneyland! They loved sharing with their friends about time spent with family.
