Cartoon Character Craft Week 10

Today we made Frankenstein suncatchers! The kids loved seeing it shine on the windows - so we have sent them home for you to put in on a window.

It was a great project for the kids to learn that when pasting, it had to be done on the flipside as you would need to see the features from the other side.

Today with the spirit of Halloween we sang Halloween songs and danced to a few fun dances.

ECA Outdoor Play

Hi,

It was a bit rainy again for our ECA so we stayed in class. This didn't dampen the fun we were having with our games of Balloon Tennis, Higher or Lower and Balloon Bash.

Evil minions are crrr-aaazy!

We had a great ECA class making evil minions today. It took a lot of planning and control; here's how we did it:

1. We stuck on the hair. 

2.We had to put the next layer of the body colour. 

3.We had to give them the later of clothes. 

4.Finally, we gave them eyes and teeth. 

Some of the kids wanted to make normal minions because they didn't like the evil ones. But we all had a lot of fun anyway! 

Yoga Thursday through dance and song

Today, everyone asked for some gentle yoga. So we put our yoga pants on and stretched our arms and legs to a fun and relaxing yoga lesson...

Feelings and Inside Out

Today, we explored our feelings and emotions through the cartoon 'Inside Out'. It was a lot of fun talking about the characters and their colours. Then, we made our very own feelings.
